As a Member Engagement Specialist, you'll support a specific market that Wayspring serves, empowering individuals through our comprehensive services. This role requires regular daytime travel to meet members in and around the greater Louisville, KY area - mileage reimbursement is included!

Responsibilities of the Member Engagement Specialist, FES
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outreach, social work, or street outreach role
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or
Be eligible to obtain certification as a Certified Peer Support Specialist in accordance with applicable state requirements.
For candidates pursuing Peer Support Specialist certification, eligibility requires self-identification as an individual in recovery from a substance use disorder and the ability to attest to being sufficiently stable in their recovery to provide peer support services. Consistent with industry and auditing standards, candidates are generally expected to have maintained at least one year of sustained recovery prior to providing peer support services.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed environment
The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively - including de-escalation skills and crisis management - is required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective presentation skills
Experience with CRM platforms or Electronic Health Record systems (EHR/EMR) is highly preferred
