ABOUT EXPERIENCE BY INDUSTRIOUS
Experience by Industrious is a workplace hospitality brand launched by CBRE - built on the idea that where you work should actually feel like somewhere worth showing up to. We combine CBREs real estate scale with Industrious operating model to run dedicated experience teams across office assets, enterprise headquarters, healthcare facilities, and logistics centers worldwide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A great meeting space is only great if someone makes it feel that way. Thats you.
As a Meeting & Event Manager, youre responsible for the full lifecycle of a booking: responding to inquiries, coordinating logistics, running the day-of experience, and making sure the space is ready for the next one. Youre the person clients interact with, and the impression you leave is the impression the building leaves.
This role is part sales, part operations, part hospitality. Youll work in Tripleseat, conduct site tours, flip rooms between events, and follow up with clients to make sure they got what they needed. The detail work matters here just as much as the relationship work.
The best people in this role take genuine pride in flawless execution and understand that a smoothly run event isnt just good for the client - its what fills the calendar next quarter.
WINNING IN THIS ROLE MEANS:
- Every event runs smoothly. Clients leave knowing exactly what theyll tell their colleagues when recommending the space.
- Your Tripleseat pipeline is clean and current - you know whats confirmed, whats pending, and what needs follow-up.
- Clients rebook. They mention you by name. The space gets a reputation as the one that always gets it right.
- Spaces are always reset and ready. No client ever arrives to a room that wasnt prepared for them.
- Revenue is on track. You understand your contribution to the buildings booking goals.
YOULL LOVE THIS ROLE AND SUCCEED AT IT IF:
- You take the details personally. A room thats not quite right, a follow-up that didnt happen, a catering order that arrived late - these things bother you because you care about the clients experience, not just your to-do list.
- Youre good at managing a lot of moving parts at once. Multiple bookings, multiple vendors, multiple client requests - you have a system, you trust it, and things rarely fall through the cracks.
- You enjoy the client-facing side of this work. Conducting a site tour, answering questions, helping someone figure out the right setup for their event - youre comfortable in those conversations and you do them well.
- You understand that sales and service are connected. The way you handle an inquiry is part of the reason it converts. The way you run an event is part of the reason they rebook.
- Youre reliable under pressure. Something goes sideways an hour before an event. You handle it calmly, fix it quickly, and the client never knows it happened.
NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF:
- Youd rather focus purely on one thing at a time. This role requires managing multiple bookings and relationships simultaneously.
- You find the combination of sales activity and event logistics more stressful than energizing.
- Client-facing work feels uncomfortable. A significant part of this role is being the face of the space to people booking it.
- Youre not interested in the revenue side of the role. Here, your work connects directly to building performance.
- Repetitive tasks like room resets, daily check-ins, and Tripleseat updates feel beneath you. Here, theyre fundamental.
