Dave White Chevrolet, a Toledo Top Workplace, is looking for an experienced Medium Duty & Diesel Service Technician to join our busy Service Department.
This position may involve working on all GM vehicles, with a primary focus on Chevrolet 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500, and 6500 models. You may also work on all makes and models of medium-duty and diesel trucks, as well as gasoline-powered vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair GM vehicles, with an emphasis on Chevrolet 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500, and 6500 models
- Diagnose and repair medium-duty and diesel trucks of all makes and models
- Perform engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and emissions repairs
- Perform maintenance, fluid services, alignments, tire services, and brake repairs
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic testing
- Identify and communicate additional repair needs
- Complete accurate repair documentation
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Participate in ongoing technical training
Requirements
- Diesel experience required
- Medium-duty or heavy-duty experience preferred
- GM experience is a plus
- ASE certifications preferred
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must have your own tools and toolbox
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
