aWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care in an assisted living environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medication administration and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Duties
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medication and report findings to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide support and care for individuals with disabilities, fostering a supportive environment.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and communication purposes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in medication administration.
Experience
- Certification as a Medication Technician is required.
- Previous experience in Assisted Living.
