aWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care in an assisted living environment. Duties

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medication and report findings to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide support and care for individuals with disabilities, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in medication administration.

Experience

  • Certification as a Medication Technician is required.
  • Previous experience in Assisted Living.
