    Overview

    We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented professional to support residents with daily living activities and assist with medication administration in a respectful, person-centered environment. This role helps promote safety, dignity, and well-being while working closely with residents, families, and the care team.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist residents with daily personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support as needed.
    • Support medication administration according to established policies, procedures, and state regulations.
    • Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, or needs and report concerns promptly to the appropriate team member.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to care, medications, and resident observations.
    • Provide respectful support that encourages independence, comfort, and quality of life.
    • Respond appropriately to resident requests and ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
    • Communicate professionally with residents, families, and coworkers.
    • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in resident care, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
    • Medication technician certification or equivalent training preferred or required based on location.
    • Knowledge of safe medication practices and basic personal care procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and routine care tasks as needed.
