Center for Human Development, CHD, is currently seeking a full-time Medication Specialist for our Grace House residential program. CHD’s Grace House is a residential treatment program for mothers in early recovery located in Northampton, MA. The program can house up to fourteen mothers with children in a collective living environment, where they share space and resources in an effort to build a recovery community and encourage peaceful living. As a therapeutic setting, we strive to provide each family with a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their children can experience success.
Grace House is considered a Medication Observation Program (MOP).
The Medication Specialist role is a full-time position and is a combination of Med Specialist and Direct care.
The medication specialist primary function is to ensure proper medication observation strategies are being followed, that patient and resident prescription medications and over the counter drugs are being taken properly and desired health outcomes are achieved. This includes initial and ongoing monitoring of medications, addressing medication supply and adherence concerns, and coordinating care between providers, participant, and clinical team.
Some additional responsibilities will include;
Interested candidates must have at least two years of working experience in mental health/SUD, one year of working experience with medications or have MAP or MOP certification, associate degree preferred.
Schedule is full time, 40hrs a week, Tuesday - Saturday from 3:00pm-11:00pm.
