    We are currently seeking dedicated part-time Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join our team.

    • Shift Lengths: 4, 8, and 12-hour shifts

    Position Summary

    As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will assist with medication administration, activities of daily living, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

    Certified Medication Aides must be flexible and willing to work as either Medication Aides or Nurse Aides, subject to change depending on staffing needs and position availability. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
    • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment. 
    • Other duties as assigned.  

    Qualifications

    • Active Kansas Certified Medication Aide certificate.
    • Active Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Health Care Aide certification.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules.
    • Previous long-term care experience preferred; however, motivated new CNAs are encouraged to apply.
    • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Dependable work ethic and commitment to resident-centered care.
    • Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily living activities.
