What You'll Do

As a Medication Aide, you'll provide compassionate support to residents while assisting with medication administration and daily care needs according to individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer medications and limited topical treatments to residents
  • Provide quality bedside care and support residents' daily needs
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living according to their care plans
  • Support residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being
  • Follow community programs, policies, procedures, and core values
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and safety requirements
  • Communicate resident needs and changes appropriately with the care team

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certificate required
  • One year of experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to resident care
  • Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to providing quality support to older adults
