Medicare Account Agent
Location: Columbia, SC (office based with local travel)
Compensation: $55-60k base + commission + benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (with flexibility to accommodate client meetings and events)
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Medicare Account Agent to grow and manage our Medicare book of business. This role combines new business development with client account management, supporting Medicare-eligible individuals and existing clients with tailored healthcare solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys a balance of relationship management and business development. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who is comfortable presenting to groups, engaging with the senior community, and taking a proactive approach to generating new opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Drive new business through referrals, marketing initiatives, and community outreach
Manage and retain existing Medicare accounts, including renewals
Deliver presentations and educational seminars to Medicare-eligible audiences
Build, track, and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
Prepare and present proposals and sales materials
Qualifications
Active Health & Life Insurance License required
AHIP Certification (or ability to obtain)
Experience selling Medicare products
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-starter with a sales-driven mindset
