A healthcare organization in Southwest Florida is looking for a Medical Technologist for a full-time day shift position with rotating weekends.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, day shift with rotating weekends
• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing
• Complete STAT testing within established turnaround times
• Review and interpret patient results, including delta checks
• Perform quality control procedures and address critical or problem specimens
• Maintain required records and documentation for patient results

What We’re Looking For

• Associate degree required
• Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain the license during the interview process
• Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas
• Generalist licensure highly preferred
• Specialty areas may include Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology
• Previous Medical Technologist experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
• At least 1 year of Medical Technologist experience
• Generalist background
