One of the following within 24 months of employment*:
- MT(ASCP): Medical Technologist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
- MT(AMT): Medical Technologist certified by the American Medical Technologists.
- MLS(ASCP): Medical Laboratory Scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
- MLS(AMT): Medical Laboratory Scientist certified by the American Medical Technologists.
- CS(ASCP): Specialist in Chemistry certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
- C(ASCP): Technologist in Chemistry certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
- MLT(FBCLP): Medical Laboratory Technician certified by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
- Specialist ASCP: approved Specialist certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology

Bachelor of Science in a Biological Science

Responsibilities:
Utilizes professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of Medical Technology to provide accurate and reliable laboratory test results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
