Responsibilities: Utilizes professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of Medical Technology to provide accurate and reliable laboratory test results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. MLT(FBCLP): Medical Laboratory Technician certified by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

 

• MT(ASCP): Medical Technologist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• MT(AMT): Medical Technologist certified by the American Medical Technologists.
• MLS(ASCP): Medical Laboratory Scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• MLS(AMT): Medical Laboratory Scientist certified by the American Medical Technologists.
• CS(ASCP): Specialist in Chemistry certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• C(ASCP): Technologist in Chemistry certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• MLT(FBCLP): Medical Laboratory Technician certified by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
• Specialist ASCP: approved Specialist certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
Bachelor of Science in a Biological Science
