A community hospital in the Dillon, South Carolina area is seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join its laboratory team. Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing according to established procedures.

• Process and prepare patient specimens.

• Operate laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

• Review and verify test results for accuracy.

• Perform quality control and maintain laboratory standards.

• Follow safety, regulatory, and infection-control procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Medical Technologist/MLS or Medical Laboratory Technician/MLT certification as applicable.

• Appropriate South Carolina credentials/licensure.

• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
