Responsibilities:

Come help us shape the future of laboratory medicine!

Join our new, contemporary clinical laboratory as our Flow Cytometry Lead, where you'll have the rare opportunity to scale and grow our flow cytometry program.


You'll lead the development of a new flow cytometry service by designing workflows, establishing standard operating procedures, implementing best practices, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care through accurate, timely, and reliable laboratory testing. Working alongside laboratory leadership, pathologists, physicians, and vendor partners, you'll help create a culture centered on innovation, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing highly complex flow cytometry testing while providing technical leadership, regulatory oversight, quality assurance, and staff development
  • Establishing and maintaining a compliant, efficient, and patient-focused laboratory that meets the highest standards of quality and excellence
  • Serving as the supervisor designee in the absence of the Section Supervisor
Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:

  • At least four (4) years of prior experience in performing high-complexity flow cytometry testing as a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
  • A B.S. and successful completion of an accredited MT/MLS program.
  • A B.S or A.A.in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science including a Laboratory training program or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS or HHS sanctioned reviewer, ASCP accreditation or equivalent.
  • A B.S. or A.A. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science degree that includes 60 semester hours of medical lab technology courses or other sciences as specified by CLIA.

Certification Requirements:

  • ASCP Certification Required; Specialty Certification preferred

 

Must meet M.T. Tier requirements for MT/MLS III and successfully complete the application process.

 

Min: USD $37.75/Hr. Max: USD $67.95/Hr. Salary Information: Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications. Benefits:
