Description

Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Cumming, GA 30041
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Shift Hours: Varies, approximately 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
Department: 702F – Clinical Laboratory

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty

  • Required Certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, or AAB

  • Preferred: Experience in a clinical laboratory setting

  • Experience with specimen testing and analysis

  • Facility will only consider Medical Technologists (MT) and Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS)

  • Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will NOT be considered

  • No local candidates within 50 miles

Holiday Requirement

Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

  • New Year's Day

Additionally, travelers must work 1 minor holiday:

  • Friday after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • New Year's Eve
