    A Medical Technologist opportunity is available in Brooksville, FL with a hospital laboratory serving Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology sections.

    The role. Reporting to a Laboratory Supervisor, Manager, or Director, the Medical Technologist performs both stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across licensed technical discipline areas, applying independent judgment to ensure timely and accurate results. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing stat procedures within established turnaround time targets, performing quality control procedures per protocol and taking corrective action when patient, control, standard, calibration, or proficiency results fall outside acceptable guidelines, and troubleshooting basic equipment malfunctions. The role also involves reviewing pending and result logs to resolve outstanding workload, handling critical laboratory specimens and test results according to established procedures, and supporting regulatory compliance with agencies such as CAP. In the absence of the supervisor, the Medical Technologist assumes appropriate departmental responsibility.

    What we're looking for.

    • A 2 Year/Associate Degree is required
    • A 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred
    • A State of Florida Technologist License is required
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

    Schedule. Full-time, third shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with rotating weekends; 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts available.

    Compensation. $27.09 - $37.92/hr plus ON CALL: $2; NIGHT DIFF: $2.50; Sign on: Night Shift- 10K/ Day shift- $5K; Relo- Case by case
