Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

RTO is not allowed within the first two weeks of the start date.
Only minimal RTO is allowed.
Unit Details:
Day-shift patient ratios are 1:3-4.
The patient population is general medical.
The unit does not use telemetry.
Patients use CPAP at night.
Respiratory therapy is available 24/7, but nurses perform all respiratory treatments.
Hospitalist coverage is available 24/7.
An IV team is available 7am-8:30pm.
A nurse resource is available 24/7, with IV help available 7pm-7am.
Pharmacy support is available 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling:
Must be willing to work 48 hours per week.
Every other weekend is required; you must be able to work the full weekend, including Sundays.
Every other holiday is required.
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
