Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Contract

Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units: We all see a good mix of medical patients. Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, Techs, etc).

Location: Battle Creek, MI
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30

**Holiday coverage is required; manager is not approving any holiday RTO**

LOCAL RATE APPLIES TO CANDIDATES 50 MILES AND UNDER - SEE CDM FOR RATE

Offering up to 26 weeks, notate length preference in submittal

Travel Experience HIGHLY PREFERRED, may consider no travel if more perm experience
Information Regarding Observation Unit:
10 Bed ER Overflow
Ratios 1:6 at Night; 1:5 at Days
Focus of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients.

FIRST TO FLOAT
Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg units
Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend.

Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units:

Target Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights
Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances
Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, Techs, etc).

Other Requirements: Must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, Techs etc.)
Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time

Michigan RN License
BLS (AHA)
Minimum 1 year Required.
