Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:

• Travelers will not be required to do chemotherapy due to internal requirements for competency.
• Most patients are general medical/surgical, with a specialty in post-tumor surgical intervention (prostatectomy, mastectomy, etc.); the population is very similar to a typical surgical patient.
• RNs are required to titrate drips; common titratable or set-rate drips include heparin, lidocaine, and TPN.
• Central monitoring is used, and RNs are expected to notice changes.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule period (night weekend days are Fridays and Saturdays).
• Holiday coverage is rotating and required.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating is rare and, if needed, is only to another medical/surgical unit.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
