    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Job Title: Medical Records Specialist (Glendale)
    Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Strong possibility of extension).            
    Location: Glendale, AZ –Onsite Position
     
    Additional Information
    • Must secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and complete a background check ·
    • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire

    Experience Required  
    • 6 months’experience registering patients in an electronic medical records system in a healthcare setting.
    • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis          
     
    Experience Preferred
    • Experience gathering data from patients and creating medical records
    • Cashiering or cash handling experience       
     
    Education Required    
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
