What you'll do:Manages facility medical records, including assembly, labeling, filing, cleaning, and purging documents Compiles statistical data as directed by the AdministratorMaintains Central Supply budget and tracks invoices per facility policy Reports budget variances and deficiencies to DON and Administrator Orders and replenishes supplies through weekly vendor and central supply ordering Ensures confidentiality and security of health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Oversees preparation and submission of annual OSHPD and other required reports Performs scheduled audits of medical records and documentation Reviews resident charts for deficiencies and assists in correction processes Issues deficiency reports and tracks completion deadlines for corrections Coordinates 10A documentation, obtains DON approval, and submits to Business Office Performs additional duties as assignedWhat we offer:Competitive hourly pay based on experience 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Generous paid time off (PTO) Up to $500 per month in nursing school tuition reimbursement What we're looking for:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred Experience as a medical records practitioner in a long-term care setting required Experience with computer data entry required Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases Full range of motion required, including handling and lifting patients Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand for extended periods of time Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices) to perform dutiesWhy us:Our Medical Records team care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
