ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Records Clerk supports the integrity, accessibility, and confidentiality of patient health information within the Clinic. The position contributes to efficient clinical and administrative operations by ensuring health records are managed in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.This role focuses on maintaining accurate health information and supporting timely information flow for patient care and business functions. The Medical Records Clerk promotes quality, compliance, and service excellence through effective records management practices. QualificationsJob Requirements: Knowledge of medical records management, confidentiality requirements, and document control practices. Skill in data entry and use of computer applications. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling sensitive information. Ability to organize work, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff. Preferred Job Requirements: 1+ years of medical records, health information management, or healthcare office experience. Experience using electronic health record systems. Knowledge of release-of-information processes and healthcare privacy regulations. Strong organizational and records retention management skills.
