    Position: Medical Records & Receptionist
    Location: Canutillo, TX
    Reports to: Executive Director

    Position Summary
    The Client Care Specialist / Medical Records Clerk serves as the first point of contact for patients while ensuring the
    accurate management, organization, and security of medical records. This role combines front desk administrative
    support with medical records processing, including scheduling, patient communication, document management, and
    compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone
    • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars using EMR systems
    • Collect payments and support administrative billing tasks
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
    • Scan, upload, and organize medical documentation
    • Process and track medical records requests
    • Prepare and audit medical record packets
    • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams
    • Perform general clerical and administrative duties
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
    • 1–2 years of healthcare or customer service experience
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
    • Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to sit for extended periods
    • Frequent use of hands for typing and paperwork
    • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds
    HIPAA Compliance
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
    • Verify patient identity before releasing information
    • Secure physical and electronic records
    • Complete required HIPAA training
    • Report any suspected breaches immediately
    Compensation: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
