Responsibilities and Duties

This position is Full-time and requires becoming familiarized with processes throughout Community Behavioral Health. Expected full time work days 8am - 5pm. The major function and goal of the job are to operationalize, coordinate the patient check-in/out process, and troubleshoot problems with referring agencies and Community Behavioral Health Staff members. The Welcome Center / Front Office reception's primary goal is to facilitate smooth and efficient patient care while maintaining safety and privacy for the client, family members, and the referring agencies.

The position requires working knowledge of basic computer skills, interest, and motivation in learning various aspects of the function of electronic medical records (EMR), including troubleshooting and being a liaison to facilitate the use of EMR by clinicians. This position requires skills such as general typing, clerical assignments, medical records coordination duties, and the operation of standard office equipment. Strict confidentiality must be maintained at all times on-site and off-site for all aspects of CBH and its patients and clients.

About Company

Community Behavioral Health (CBH) is a not-for-profit 501c (3) corporation contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide mental health and substance abuse services for Philadelphia County Medicaid recipients.

Supported through state funding, CBH works in partnership with the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide vital behavioral health services.
