    Medical Receptionist – Pain & Spine Center
    Company: Southwoods Health
    Location: Boardman, Ohio
    Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
     
     
    About the Role
    Southwoods Health is seeking a patient-focused Medical Receptionist for our Pain & Spine Center in Boardman. This role serves as the face of our practice, ensuring every patient receives a professional, proactive, and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
     
     
    What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
    • Patient Access: Manage the patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes efficiently.
    • Financial Verification: Collect co-pays, verify insurance eligibility, and update demographic information.
    • Care Scheduling: Coordinate follow-up appointments and provide clear post-visit instructions to patients.
    • Communication Link: Perform telephone triage, route incoming calls, and accurately facilitate provider instructions.
    • Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff to ensure a seamless, timely patient flow throughout the day.
     
    What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
    • Experience: Prior medical receptionist or healthcare front-office experience is preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong familiarity with basic medical terminology.
    • Professional Traits: Exceptional customer service skills, high attention to detail, and a polished, empathetic demeanor.
    • Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
