    • This is an unbenefited position that includes a 10% incentive on hourly wage.

    Medical Receptionist - Ampla Health

    Join Ampla Health as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll be the first point of contact for patients-ensuring a positive experience both in person and over the phone. You'll manage front desk operations, verify coverage, and support administrative tasks that keep our clinic running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients, manage incoming calls, and schedule appointments
    • Complete patient registration and update Electronic Health Records (EHR)
    • Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, and patient eligibility
    • Collect and post payments; reconcile daily cash transactions
    • Maintain daily schedules and front desk inventory
    • Support daily clinic operations and administrative needs

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Medical Assistant certification required
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word; able to type 40+ WPM
    • Experience with payment collection and insurance verification
    • Bilingual (Spanish, Punjabi, or Hmong) preferred
    • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

    Working Conditions:

    • Fast-paced clinic environment
    • Able to lift 40 lbs and push 100 lbs on wheels
    • Frequent standing, bending, and reaching
    • Exposure to infectious diseases possible
