    Description

    The Medical Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while supporting efficient day-to-day clinic operations. This position performs a variety of front-office and administrative duties, including patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, medical record maintenance, and payment processing.

    Pay & Schedule

    Competitive starting pay based on experience and qualifications.

    Part-Time Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM. Candidates must also have the flexibility to work additional hours as needed to provide clinic coverage during staff absences.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum six (6) months of customer service or reception experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 year or more of experience in a healthcare setting
    • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
    • Bilingual in Spanish
    • Graduate of a certified medical office training program, CNA, or Medical Assistant
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
