We are looking for:Medical Oncology Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Proposed Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8-6p

This role has a hiring range of $18.75-35.00/hr based on experience.

What you’ll do: 

  • Assistin chemotherapy protocols 

  • Drug calculations as they relate to treatment plans

  • Vertical-flow hood and maintenance 

  • Clinical studies/trials

  • Extravasation protocols/safety

  • Administration of chemotherapy, requiring excellent venipuncture skillsand IV catheter placement

  • Coordinate and manage client communication/educationvia phone and email

  • Manage appointments,obtain histories, invoicing, patient discharges, scheduling

  • Accurate and thorough documentation in medical records

  • Clinical studies/trials

Who you are: 

  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license

  • Prior veterinary experience,previousoncologyexperience desired

  • Proficientincalculations(drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)

  • Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
