Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EHR system
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
- Manage front desk operations including filing, faxing, and maintaining a tidy reception area
Requirements:- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk setting preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and EHR/EMR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative training a plus
