TEEMA is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Medical Office Coordinator to join a busy outpatient clinic. In this front-office role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients while supporting providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
Complete patient registration, check-in, and check-out.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, referrals, and required documentation.
Collect co-pays, co-insurance, pre-payments, and self-pay balances.
Scan and upload insurance cards, medical records, and patient documentation into the electronic health record (EHR).
Create and update patient encounters and assist with pre-clinic chart preparation.
Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately.
Process incoming faxes and coordinate communication with providers and clinical staff.
Assist with medical records requests, disability paperwork, and FMLA documentation.
Support providers and clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Reconcile daily payments and complete end-of-day balancing reports.
Assist with deposit documentation and other administrative tasks.
Travel between nearby clinic locations as needed.
Participate in an occasional Saturday rotation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous medical office, healthcare reception, or patient-facing administrative experience preferred.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment.
Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR) and learning new software.
Basic Microsoft Office experience.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic policies.
Reliable transportation for travel between nearby clinic locations when needed.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
Ability to reach, bend, push, pull, and occasionally kneel.
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, providers, and staff.
