Location: Hendersonville, TN (onsite Monday-Friday)

Job Details

The Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal is a full-time, fast-paced, on-site role based in Hendersonville, TN.

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and maintaining case files, drafting pleadings, discovery requests, correspondence, and summaries of medical records.
• Assist in obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing medical records and expert reports, preparing exhibits and trial notebooks, and coordinating depositions, hearings, and trial calendars.
• Communicating with clients, healthcare providers, experts, and court personnel, as well as managing deadlines and supporting attorneys through all phases of pre-trial and trial litigation.
• On-site collaboration with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient, accurate case management.

Qualifications:

• Strong litigation support skills, including case file organization, drafting legal documents, and managing discovery and trial preparation.
• Proficiency in reviewing, summarizing, and organizing medical records, as well as working with medical terminology and expert reports.
• Comfort with legal practice management software, document management systems
• 3+ years of prior experience in medical malpractice law required
• Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field required.
