Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney Opportunity in Tallahassee: Healthcare Defense from Home

Our client, a respected Florida healthcare defense firm, is looking for a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team in Tallahassee. The team defends physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers in professional liability claims throughout Florida.

This is a remote role. You will work from your home office, stay connected with the team virtually, and travel to Tallahassee or other venues only when hearings, meetings, or trial require it.

What You'll Do

• Manage medical malpractice cases from presuit through trial
• Review and analyze medical records with expert witnesses
• Draft motions, discovery, and reports to clients and carriers
• Take and defend depositions of parties, providers, and experts
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as needed

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of medical malpractice defense or civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and client service skills
• Self-motivated and organized when working from a home office
