We’re looking for a hands-on Bilingual Lien Specialist with strong experience on the medical provider side of lien cases. This role focuses on patient and case management, treatment follow-ups, approvals, documentation, and proactive problem-solving.
The right candidate will begin as a Lien Specialist with the opportunity to transition into a Lead Lien Specialist role as they demonstrate strong ownership, operational knowledge, and leadership.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Manage medical lien cases from the provider side, keeping cases organized and moving forward.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment, appointments, and outstanding case needs.
- Support patient retention and continuity of treatment through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Coordinate treatment approvals and necessary case documentation.
- Track lien cases, treatment progress, pending items, and follow-up requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish.
- Coordinate with attorney offices, providers, billing, legal, and operations.
- Proactively identify case issues and work toward timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready case records.
- As you grow into the Lead Lien Specialist role, help guide the lien team, strengthen accountability, and improve workflows.
What You Bring
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Hands-on experience with medical liens, healthcare operations, patient coordination, or medical case management.
- Strong experience with patient retention, treatment follow-ups, approvals, and case progression.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple active cases and proactively address delays or outstanding items.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, medical documentation, EMR/CRM systems, and healthcare workflows.
- Leadership potential and willingness to take on greater responsibility as the role progresses.
