This state-of-the-art laboratory is seeking a permanent, full-time Point of Care Coordinator. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to… 

• Monitors all onsite and off-campus bedside testing
• Reviews patient test results
• Tracks quality control and quality assurance
• Oversees Point of Care proficiency testing
• Tracks and documents performance improvement
• Functions as an educator and/or researcher of new test methods and procedures
• Serves on various committees related to Point of Care Testing
• Actively participates in monitoring adherence to the compliance of NYSDOH standards as they relate to Point of Care Testing
• Performs other technical duties as needed
