    A premier healthcare organization in North Florida is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join its hospital laboratory team.     Position Highlights

    This role is ideal for a laboratory professional who enjoys working with advanced diagnostic technology, complex testing procedures, and a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and timely results while maintaining the highest standards of laboratory quality and compliance.

    Primary Responsibilities
    • Perform clinical laboratory testing on blood, tissue, and body fluid specimens
    • Analyze and interpret laboratory data to ensure accurate reporting of results
    • Utilize automated instrumentation and manual methodologies across multiple laboratory disciplines
    • Maintain quality control standards and participate in proficiency testing activities
    • Troubleshoot instrumentation and assist with routine maintenance procedures
    • Follow established laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow laboratory professionals to support patient care
    • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of testing activities
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or related field
    • Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required or eligibility to obtain licensure
    • Laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to prioritize workload and perform effectively in a busy environment
