Summary:
This hybrid posting recruits for either a Medical Laboratory Scientist I or Medical Laboratory Scientist II, depending on candidate qualifications and experience. The Core Laboratory is comprised of multiple testing areas- Chemistry, Toxicology, Blood Gas Analysis, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Automated Hematology and Manual Hematology, including Smear Review and Body Fluid Analysis, and Specimen Processing.
This is a part-time position that may be asked to float between the Raleigh Childrens location and the Chatham Park location depending on operational needs and coverage. Techs may also be asked to draw blood on occasion. There is no set schedule for this position, and hours may vary. This is a guaranteed 20 hours per week but could be more depending on operational needs.
