Medical Lab Technologist- Meeker CO

Location                            : Meeker CO 81641

Project Duration           : 13 weeks

Pay range                         : $40 – $42 per hour,

Shift                                    : Days with variable on call

Job Summary 

We are seeking an Experienced Lab Technologist with 10+ years of laboratory experience to perform diagnostic laboratory procedures involving blood and body fluids. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to accurately perform testing, specimen collection, and result interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures on blood, body fluids, and other clinical specimens.

·         Collect, receive, process, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing.

·         Perform a variety of laboratory tests using established procedures and protocols.

·         Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

·         Analyze and evaluate test results for accuracy and completeness.

·         Identify abnormal or critical results and follow appropriate procedures for reporting.

·         Perform quality control procedures and maintain accurate laboratory records.

·         Follow established laboratory policies, procedures, and safety standards.

·         Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.

·         Troubleshoot testing issues and equipment problems as needed.

·         Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.

·         Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.

·         Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

·         ASCP certification, CLS, or equivalent required.

·         10+ years of laboratory experience required.

·         Current registered MLT or MLS credential required.

·         Strong experience performing clinical laboratory testing and specimen processing.

·         Ability to perform blood and body fluid testing accurately and efficiently.

·         Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety practices.

·         Must meet all facility-specific requirements prior to submission.
