    Description

     Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgement regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.

    Education
    Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory, or Military Training Program (An official U.S. Military medical laboratory procedures training course and that the applicant has held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician.) Required

    Experience
    1 year experience in relevant laboratory section Preferred

    Licenses
    Amer Soc Clinical Pathology Preferred
