What Youll Do
- Perform routine and specialized blood bank compatibility testing.
- Process specimens for transfusion-related testing.
- Complete ABO/Rh and antibody screens and identifications.
- Perform antibody typing using the tube method.
- Conduct immediate-spin/IgG and electronic crossmatches.
- Perform indirect Coombs testing.
- Support preparation of blood components for transfusion needs across pediatric and adult specialty services.
What You Need
Required:- ASCP-MLS certification.
- Medical Lab Scientist qualifications; MLTs are not eligible for this assignment.
- Specimen processing experience.
- Availability for every other weekend.
- Availability to work one holiday if it falls during the contract.
- Ability to float between assigned affiliated locations in Indianapolis.
- Ability to complete two weeks of day-shift training and orientation before transitioning to the contracted night shift.

About the Assignment
Youll join the Blood Bank laboratory at a leading facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, supporting routine and specialized compatibility testing and blood component preparation. The laboratory supports transfusion services for pediatric and adult patients and processes approximately 15,000 samples. First-time travelers are welcome.
