Team member is responsible for performing all laboratory procedures, including quality control, specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting of lab results. Team member will also assist in the evaluation of new or modified techniques when required. They will advise and assist in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software, as necessary. Depending on the assigned department they may also have a combination of responsibilities including key operator of specified instrumentation, supply orders and inventory, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, management of vendor relationships, procedure writing assistance and/or oversight of an off shift.
Hours: Monday - Thursday from 4PM until 1:30 AM
What We're Looking For:Perform waived, moderate, and highly complex laboratory testing on blood and body fluid specimens while ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Monitor quality control, investigate testing discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliable patient results.
Process laboratory orders, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare timely test reports.
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and healthcare team members to support high-quality patient care.
Participate in inventory management, process improvement initiatives, and implementation of new laboratory procedures.
Support the education and training of students and new team members while maintaining ongoing professional development.
Adhere to all safety, compliance, and accreditation standards, maintaining continuous survey readiness.
