Full Time - 70 hours / pay period
Evening Shift between the hours of 1500--0130
Including rotating Every 4th Weekend and Holidays
Shift: Evenings
Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant''s relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Performs laboratory testing of patient specimens in the Microbiology Department, Bacteriology section of the laboratory, including parasitology, culture reading, bacteria identification and antimicrobial susceptibility review.

Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or categorical ASCP certification in a laboratory specialty/sub-specialty as applicable to job responsibilities. State licensure if required by law. Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Previous experience in Microbiology reading culture plates preferred.
Previous experience with Microbiology digital culture reading and laboratory automation preferred.
