Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time opportunity working at our Baptist South campus. The schedule is 4 shifts, 10 hour days. 6:45am - 5:15pm. Phlebotomy experience required.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for:

• Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
• Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
• Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
• Utilizing computer functions.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred
• Phlebotomy Certification Preferred
