Medical Inventory Supply Technician NOW!
DPS is now hiring a Supply Chain Technician to support hospital supply chain operations. This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing, and inventorying medical supplies to ensure timely and accurate availability across all patient care areas.

Location: 2316 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132
Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/Hourly (Based on experience)
Shift: 4:00am - 4:00pm (Days vary)
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory for the OR, Cath Lab, and IR departments.
- Order, receive, stock, and deliver supplies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor minimum/maximum stock levels.
- Conduct physical inventories in point-of-use (POU) and non-POU areas.
- Pick supplies for scheduled, add-on, and emergency surgical cases.
- Process supply returns and respond to stock-outs and urgent supply requests.
- Ensure proper storage, barcode accuracy, and stock rotation to prevent expiration and waste.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to meet supply needs and provide inventory support.
- Transport and deliver medications and contrast media as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all applicable policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous inventory management experience preferred; hospital supply experience preferred.
- Strong inventory management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs. and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
