    Position Summary:

    Posting and maintenance of Accounts Receivable workflow; 1-3 years of hospital revenue cycle experience preferred.

    • Payment posting: Maintains both electronic and manual postings for daily payments made to facility.
    • Applications: Works with Microsoft Outlook (Explorer, Excel, and Word). Exhibits the ability to navigate efficiently through Receivables Management Systems. Comprehends functions of all systems.
    • Research and Follow Through: Research of payments and remits indicated as "missing" by other Accounts Receivable staff and follow through with insurance payers if payment or remit cannot be located in hospital system.
    • Administrative: Retrieves, prints, and distributes necessary documents. Coordinates daily correspondence. Phones, Faxes, copies, and scans.
    • Reports: Daily, weekly and monthly reports will be worked as instructed and kept current. Gather statistical data for reoccurring issues from a cash posting standpoint.
    • Skills: Needs to be efficient in typing, basic math, multitasking, and research.

    Position Qualification:

    High School diploma or GED required. Hospital revenue cycle experience preferred but not required. Microsoft Office Suite experience required including proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.
