About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Medical Funding Coordinator to support individuals and families through a structured funding and approval process. This role acts as a central point of contact, ensuring a smooth experience by coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing required documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with families, providers, and third-party organizations to resolve issues and move applications forward
- Ensure all documentation meets required guidelines and internal standards
- Prepare and send required materials ahead of scheduled appointments
- Confirm appointments are completed and follow up on next steps
- Provide guidance to families on navigating processes and clarifying requirements
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, messaging, and other communication channels
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, including inquiries, concerns, and resolutions
- Utilize internal systems and standard office tools to track progress and updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to support overall goals
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical funding, approvals, or coordination roles
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning and working within new systems and tools
- Proven track record of improving processes or workflows
