Medical Front Office

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 8:45 AM–12:00 PM & 1:45 PM–6:00 PM | Friday: 8:45 AM–1:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Tulsa, OK

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Previous customer service or medical front office experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer, phone, and scheduling skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Front Office professional to join a growing healthcare practice in Tulsa. As the first point of contact for patients, you will create a welcoming experience while ensuring the front office operates efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Confirm appointments and follow up with patients as needed
  • Check patients in and out efficiently
  • Collect patient payments and update demographic and insurance information
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff
  • Request and track patient reviews
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Complete administrative and clerical tasks to support daily office operations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during every patient interaction

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical office, physician office, specialty clinic, chiropractic office, physical therapy clinic, or other healthcare setting is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and scheduling software is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
