    Patient Registration / Front Office

    Location: Tulsa, OK
    Employment Type: Full-Time
    Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am-5pm


    Position Summary

    We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Patient Registration / Front Office Associate to join a busy women’s healthcare practice. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting patients with the check-in and check-out process, scheduling, payments, and front office administrative duties.

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office, handling multiple tasks at once, and communicating professionally with patients and staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.
    • Review upcoming appointments and verify required paperwork and insurance information.
    • Collect and scan/copy patient identification and insurance information.
    • Collect copayments, coinsurance, and outstanding balances.
    • Update patient information and maintain accurate records.
    • Notify medical staff when patients are ready for their appointment.
    • Answer phones and assist with patient questions and concerns.
    • Schedule follow-up appointments and provide appointment reminders.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and compliance guidelines.
    • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
    • Request office supplies as needed.
    • Assist with other front office duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous office, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred.
    • Medical office or medical training experience is a plus.
    • Basic computer and typing skills.
    • Ability to learn and use medical software systems.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor.
    • Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling patient concerns.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
    • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, squat, and reach as needed.
    • Ability to occasionally lift or maneuver up to 20 pounds.
    • Evening and/or weekend hours may occasionally be required based on business needs.
