Job Description
Join a well-established colon and rectal care practice where you will serve as the first point of contact for patients while supporting the daily operations of a busy specialty clinic. In this role, you will greet patients, coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate patient records while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong medical front office background, communicates effectively in both English and Spanish, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients while providing exceptional customer service
  • Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits for providers
  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain accurate patient demographic and insurance information
  • Answer multi-line phone systems and assist patients in both English and Spanish
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience in a physician office, specialty practice, or outpatient clinic
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate professionally with patients
  • Experience scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and registering patients
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

In the spirit of transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $31,200–$37,440 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
