Front Office Assistant - Urgent Care Outpatient Facility
Location: Near Augusta, Georgia
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
Pay: $16-$17 per hour
Our client is seeking a Front Office Assistant to join their urgent care outpatient facility near Augusta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to patients while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the front office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Check patients in and out
- Verify patient insurance and eligibility
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
- Utilize Aprima electronic medical records/software
- Assist with general front office and administrative duties
- Provide clear and courteous communication with patients and staff
Qualifications
- Previous medical front office or healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Experience with Aprima is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient/urgent care environment
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
Compensation & Schedule
- $16-$17/hour
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch
- No weekends indicated
