Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Natural Paths to Wellness is looking for an energetic, highly- personable, and especially wellness-oriented medical assistant to fill a variety of rolls in our growing practice. This position will be supportive to the primary receptionist but will also have responsibility of overseeing the use and scheduling of red-light therapy, and infrared sauna. Its primary responsibility is to provide a seamless, first-class experience for each individual at every visit whether as a concierge in a reception roll or facilitating treatment programs. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage multiple patients with grace and respect in the reception area even during peak demand and be comfortable assisting patients in our treatment suite.

• Warmly concierge the patient from check in to check out.
• Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts
• Book and confirm return appointments
• Welcome walk-ins, answer questions,and schedule appointments based on availability
• Update client records with contact details, appointments and services offered
• Communicate all phone and email messages with appropriate physician
• Stock supplements and coordinate web order shipping and drop shipments from suppliers.
• Send appointment reminders each week
• Facilitate patients through our LED light therapy, HIIT, Infrared sauna
• Clean equipment between uses, maintain clean towels and optimize the experience for each individual
• Maintain a tidy office setting

Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with patients and our community.
Requirements

• Strong passion for health, wellness and natural medicine
• Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role
• Excellent computer skills within windows software and other online interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with office equipment, such as multi purpose printers, and scanners.
• Familiarity with processing transactions (our office uses Quickbooks)
• Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
• Team player, eagerness to represent our brand and vision.
