Medical Director, Weekdays Only, No On-Call

A three-doctor companion animal general practice in a rural area about 25 minutes north of Richmond is hiring a Medical Director, full-time or part-time.

The caseload covers wellness, dentistry, general surgery, senior medicine, and puppy and kitten care. The team includes licensed technicians and a practice manager, and the Medical Director will lead growth efforts such as rehabilitation, acupuncture, or advanced dentistry.

Key Highlights:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Closed weekends, no on-call, no late nights
• X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, surgery, and dentistry
• Support team with licensed technicians and a practice manager
• Partnership opportunity for the right candidate through a national partnership network

About You:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited school
• Valid Virginia veterinary license, or eligible
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
• Interest in leadership, mentorship, and practice growth
